Sedona

Our first stop - Sedona to get a much deserved rest, take a swim, clean up, and other things. I'm told of "Energy Vortex's" that have great healing powers.

On our way, we stop in Phoenix, AZ to hit a Kinko's to plug into their courtesy phones to check mail, my Web stats, and upload queued mail.

We didn't stay long, as the 115 degree temperature was so uncomfortably hot that I couldn't touch any part of the car without getting burned. Soon afterwards, we were climbing into the higher elevations and was greeted with a wonderful rainstorm as we entered into Sedona. We stopped at the health food store to stock up, then out to a wonderful camp site.

A nearby Red Rock near our camp site, which we were told, was near an Energy Vortex. I woke up feeling great and energized.

We left the campground, heading into Sedona for breakfast, then headed out into the hot Arizona sun, heading first North to catch I-15, then heading East on I-40 towards Albuquerque, where I'm going to stop and upload these pages for our trip to the Web, read my Email, and upload queued messages.

On our way out of Sedona on I-89, heading toward Flagstaff, we come acoss this great little viewing area, and I shot this piture from one of the lookouts.

Another view, actually looking DOWN 45 degress or so, gives you an idea of the height we are from the canyon floor.
