Defense conference in Stuttgart, Germany, where I gave a speech
on the ever growing nuisance of SPAM. |

Well,
last year was really busy for me as usual. October 20th saw the
release of The CrunchBox™
version 3.1, the latest version of ShopIP's Intrusion Prevention
System, which I discussed in my speech on Computer Security at the
University
of Illinois in October. More of my recent news can be found

summer I took a six week tour of Europe, where I attended HAL2001
in Amsterdam, a book signing in
Germany for Hackerland,
(the follow-up to Hackertales),
which is mostly my story, but features other hackers. It was released
a few months ago, so it might still be available only in German.

Work
is underway on the screenplay and musical score of a movie following
my story from the early days of phone phreaking and arpanet hacking,
through the years of my creations and contributions to the computer
revolution.
